Mini Album

Well had a productive day last friday, and decided to try my hand at making a little album of my kids pictures, to give to my mother in law. Now this is the first time ever trying to make one of these and i figure it turned out rather nice if i do say so myself :)
I used a cornflakes box as the front and back cover, stuck DSP on it and vanilla cardstock etc.
anyway here are the pics of the Album....

all items besides the binder rings and the cornflakes box are by stampin up!

was fun to make and great to give.

now to make one for me :)

LOVELY  NEW BEST OF STAMP SET

BEST OF BUTTERFLIES AVAILABLE NOW.

Blooming with Kindness stampset, triple layered in the new strawberry slush ink colour on whisper white, and strawberry slush card stock frames. LOVE this stamp :)  now to figure out how to crop my pictures on here lol.

Hey :) Playing around with the best of flowers stampset again colours are soft suede chocolate chip pumpkin pie and old olive, used big shot to make the leaves and painstakingly cut around the flowers that i stamped on whisper white in soft suede and pumpkin pie.

Pretty basic card, but pretty none the less, I used the best of flowers stampset for this, the happy birthday is from the afterthoughts stampset (retired), on whisper white cardstock, black embossed both stamps used aqua painter with lucky limeade ink and just coloured it all in, lucky limeade bakers twine border. a touch of black cardstock around the edge top and bottom, all stuck down on lucky limeade cardstock :)

The Lovely Swallowtail stamp, what a beautiful stamp, can make many different looking cards with this and it is alot of fun, I actually do not own this one YET! (I borrowed it at a workshop)  but I will, all I did was stamp versa mark on pool party card stock, then used white emboss powder with heat gun. with an aqua painter pen water coloured with 3 different ink colours, cut out butterfly and used dimensionals to make the wings pop out from the card. Four pearls down the body, Used snail glue to fasten butterfly to strip of pool party card stock and fastened that to whisper white card.  Sounds alot harder than it actually was took about 20 minutes (cutting the butterfly out took some time) but was well worth the final product, hope you agree :)

Hi Hi Hi!!!  Been really busy with the new catalog products to ooooh and ahhhh over :p   last weekend i went to a workshop and made quite a few cards i will be posting soon what i made. This morning my order was on my doorstep and i can't wait to have a play, loving the new colours :)
